ER-25 Precision Instrument - Sherline Converted Headstock

If you are looking for the Sherline ER collet conversion that works best for super high speeds, this is the one. The ER-25 has less moving mass and works well with very high speeds. Plus, you can finally get the high level of precision you want out of a Sherline (without using tiny 1160 & 1162 WW Sherline collets). Let's face it, to holding larger stock with the Sherline jaw chucks gives limited precision and camping surface area. This problem is now solved with you new headstock.

• ER25 Collet sizes ranges available 1/16” to 5/8”
  
• Through hole is .30”(optional .55” Large Bore for larger long stock)
• .0005" or runout at the collet mating surface
• Optional ABEC-7 Angular Contact Bearings (Sherline stock bearings aren't really high precision)
• Optional .55" ID Large Bore
